Kristen Gass, a singer-songwriter and spoken word artist (and a dear friend), commissioned me to design and print a limited edition run of t-shirts inspired by a line of text from one of her pieces.

This is an image I came up with after reading her words.

On the finished design, the frontside reads, "here I stand/ humbled proud & amazed/ in solidarity with all those who showed up to say..." and the backside says "i will be bold today." The image on the back is a single bird in flight.
